Scripture is clear that we are saved to serve. God, in His grace, has given each of us gifts to use in the building up of the church. Service for God is simply allowing God to work through us to minister to others. The clear principles of Scripture lead us to our Philosophy Statement for Teens Involved. This philosophy directs us to the purpose or goal of Teens Involved. The balance of this handbook is designed to give you the specifics of the Program to follow in order to reproduce godly people who love and serve God.

Principles

• 1 Peter 4:10 Be a good steward of the gifts and abilities God has given you.
• Colossians 3:23 Serve the Lord heartily. The Lord will reward as we have served Him.
• 1 Corinthians 4:1 God has entrusted to us the truth of His Word. We must be faithful in serving others.
• Romans 12:11 Do not be slothful in business; fervent in spirit; serving the Lord;
• 1 Corinthians 14:12 Even so ye, forasmuch as ye are zealous of spiritual gifts, seek that ye may excel to the edifying of the church.
• Ephesians 4:12 For the perfecting of the saints, for the work of the ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ.

Philosophy

God has given every believer gifts, talents, and abilities to serve Him for His glory and for the edification of believers, therefore we need to help, lead and encourage students to develop and use them for this purpose.

Purpose

To encourage and help Christian students gain experience in presenting their gifts and abilities for service in ministry to God for His honor and glory.

Program

Leaders or Coaches will work with teens to prepare a presentation from 23 possible categories. They will make their presentations at each level where they will receive input, encouragement and a numerical score from judges. The top five entries at each level will move on to the next level. As a leader or coach you need to make sure your teens utilize their presentations not just for Teens Involved Competition but in a special Sunday service and in Christian Service activities. Teens Involved should get the teens using their gifts and abilities in ministry right now and into the future.

Gosh, I can't find the dates for TI. I will check the missionary pages but they should be here as well... Just a thought. I could be missing something...

I am looking for TI rules... where can I find them?
Author: Ben Yuly - March 3, 2010
I'm looking for TI rules as well. I'm also trying to figure out what exactly I'm supposed to do. I'm planning to do a praise team or instrumental group entry with my brothers, but I haven't been able to find any detailed information about what we're supposed to do. Is this website undergoing a revision, or are we supposed to get this information elsewhere?

My son will be participating in the Regional TI Competition in Lynchburg,VA on April 17. If he does well, I am told he will be invited to attend a camp for international competition, which may be in either NY or FL and either the last week of June or first week of July. Can anyone clarify that for me? When and where will he go? I don't want to plan other summer activities until I know the date and place for this one, but have other family members waiting on me to make plans.
